A Norwegian tradition that we use on birthdays is to tie the presents on a string and pull them up one at a time. (If I'm being honest I am not 100% sure it's a Norwegian tradition or just something my parents did with us and we have continued with it). Anyhow, we started with some gifts from Karston.
A lovely bedazzled stapler for her new room with pink staples.
And, of course, Silly Bandz!
Then she had to follow the string that was attached to the door handle of her new room.
Notice the lovely wrapping job of the door.
Then her face when she saw the room. Priceless!
She was soooo excited!
She loves her new bed.
Her new fav spot to sit and read.
You get a sombrero! and ice cream!
Almost the perfect shot...still perfect even though Karston looks like he is...well...you know.
A pop in to the office to say hi to the gang and a little siesta.
A good way to end the night. Kynzi and I love to talk about the paintings God does in the evening.
I am so proud of my little girl who isn't so little anymore. Middle school...here we come!

I can't believe she is going into middle school! I remember when she was born, and it looked like this little baby had come out with your face on it. It really freaked me out. I'm glad she turned out to be a pretty girl! I love Kynzi, and I love you Erik!
ohhh man, got a little teary eyed there. Happy birthday Kynzi! What a fun family day!!
