My Kids in the Paper

Every year when we get our first snow we all go out and build a snowman. Then we take pics and submit it to our local paper. Well, for 4 years in a row we have done that and 4 years in a row they have put it in the paper. Front page! This year we did not have much snow on the first snow fall, but we still took advantage of it and made a snowman...on a slightly smaller scale than last years. Keizer Times Front Page? Adoption Acceptance!

In my last post I shared that my kids assume we will always be on the front page of our local paper with our snowman like we have the last 3 years in a row. Well, we are on the front page of the website. Click here to check it out. This paper comes out once a week, so I don't know if we will be in the paper or not. Here's hopin'.

Also, in the mail today came our adoption packet saying we have been officially accepted. We had an interview on Tuesday after our all of our references got in. We made our announcement before the official acceptance, but we were pretty certain it wold be no problem. Just wanted to keep you updated.

Oh, we also made it to the Statesman Journal.
